Terms and Conditions for the use of www.efriends.ie, (efriends.ie).

Welcome to efriends.ie, Ireland's commended online social networking website. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. Should you not agree with any of the terms and conditions set out here, please do not register. The terms and conditions set out hereby relate to the agreement ("the agreement") between all users ("members/VIP members") ("you/your") of the service ("the service") of efriends.ie ("the website"). By registering with the efriends.ie, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of the terms and conditions: Users who are at least eighteen (18) years of age are welcome to use the service. USERS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE SERVICE.

2. Modifications to these terms and conditions: efriends.ie reservies the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time and will post any changes or modifications online. It is the responsibility of the user to check the terms and conditions periodically. Users using the service provided by the website constitutes users' acceptance of the terms and conditions including any ammended terms and conditions updated on the website from time to time.

3. Eligibility: All users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) years of age are not permitted to participate or register with this service.

4. Membership: efriends.ie reserves the right to refuse any application of membership at its sole discretion. Certain sections of the website are restricted to users who have registered with efriends.ie. On registration, the website will email an activation code to the user, to prove that the email is valid before registration. Registration is FREE. Once registration is accepted, the user becomes a member of efriends.ie. Having registered with the service, members have access to all of the free services and features that the website has to offer. In order to fully access all of the advanced communicative features and services provided by the website, including the ability to communicate fully with other members, users are welcome to subscribe to VIP membership. Member Services: include but are not restricted to; access to the website,sending and receiving of quick notes, sending and receiving of emails and messages to other members/VIP members. Members are not permitted to include personal contact information, such as for example email address, phone number mobile number or arrangements to meet in messages sent to other members/VIP members. Please subcribe to the become a VIP member to enjoy access to all of the communicative services and features the website has to offer. VIP Member Services: include but are not restricted to; access to the website, sending and receiving of quick notes, sending and receiving of emails/messages to all members and VIP members, permission to include personal contact information, such as described above can only be shared between other VIP members. VIP members are not permitted to share personal contact information such as described above with members), use of the instant chat feature, access to the message board/events board. Messages are scanned automatically and manually to check that the services is not being abused. efriends.ie reserves the right to cancel membership and VIP membership at any time for breach of these terms and conditions, or otherwise.

5. Subscription Option: Membership and registration is free. Members have access to all of the free services the website has to offer.(Please see Member Services above). In order to fully access all of the advanced communicative services and features the site has to offer members can upgrade to subscribe to VIP membership. There are four payment plans available for subscribing to become a VIP member:1 month costs €20; 3 months costs €50 (save €10); 6 months costs €80 (save €40); 12 months costs €140 (save €100). Payment for VIP membership must be paid in full by credit card or laser/debit card through the efriends.ie secure server. VIP membership will be billed monthly, querterly, six monthly, or yearly as indicated by you on a recurring basis. Additional services provided by the website may require additional charges. These services and their associated costs will be clearly outlined on the website. efriends.ie reserves the right solely at our discretion to offer at any time promotional rates to new or existing customers of the website or partner websites, including free VIP membership, which maybe offered from time to time for a limited period.

6. Cancellation: Should you wish to cancelyour VIP membership, please do so via email to: cancelsubscription@efriends.ie. Please allow at least 4 days notice to process the cancellation. We will not be able to provide you with a refund for any unused amounts of membership fees paid. efriends.ie reserves the right to cancel your membershiip/VIP membership, with or without reason at anytime with immediate effect for breach of any of these terms and conditions. efriends.ie is not obliged to enter into any correspondences as to why cancellation occurred. No refund will be provided in the case of your breach of these terms and conditions. On cancellation of VIP membership, users will have the option to continue to use the service as a non fee paying member. Users will be required to re register, in order to renew their VIP membership. VIP members who obtained free membership for life are freee until such time as they cancel their VIP membership. On cancellation of their free for life membership, VIP members who wish to subscribe to the website may be required to pay subcription fees. Subscription fee options are outlined above. See5. Subscription Option.

7. Privacy: efriends.ie is hosted on a secure server. efriends.ie will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the privacy of any personal data including personal email address, telephone number, mobile number, credit/laser/debit card details provided by you theough the registration process and shall use such information only for the purposes for which such information was collected or as required by law. you agree that efriends.ie can use your email address in relation to the service. efriends.ie will use its best endeavours to keep any emails privately posted to youi by other members and to maintain your privacy and anonymity while using the service. You acknowledge and confirm by your registration that efriends.ie cannot ensure warranty expressed or implied to the contrary(which is hereby denied). You agree that information provided by you for inclusion in your profile can be viewed by other members including photographs, where applicable and may be displayed throughout the website from time to time, and not just on your pfofile page. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Username and Password. In respect to the information, the website will comply with the provisions of all applicable data protection and privacy acts.

8. Online Conduct and Content: You agree with the following: (a) to provide true and accurate information about yourself in the registration process.(b) you are solely responsible for the content that you publish on the website and the content that you transmit to other members of the website.(c) you may not include in your profile any telephone numbers, residential or office addresses, last names, URLs, email addresses, website addresses, instant message addresses, or other personal contact information. (d) you agree not to upload post, email or use the website to distribute material (including but not limited to text, graphics, video, programs, or audio) that is unlawful, invasive of provacy, harassing, harmful, abusive, libellious, threatening, bigoted, offensive, defamatory, vulgar, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectional, or that could constitute a criminal offence or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation. (e) you agree not to misuse the website and not to post material that contains advertising or any form of commercial solicitation and not to use the website for the transmission of "junk mail", "spam", "chain letters", or unsolicited mass distribution of email. (f) you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity and not to transmit any material that infringes or violates the rights of another including but not limited to the intellectual property rights of a third party and we reserve the right to delete or remove any content provided by a member and to terminate any account without prior notice if any conditions contained herein are violated or suspected of the same.

9. Photographs: Any photo provided by you must be of you only and must display your face. Photos and images will be reviewed and checked before being posted to the website. Photos will not be approved if; they contain any contact details, are of poor quality, are copyrighted photos, are celebrity photos, are photos of actors, models or cartoon characters, and are obscene or offensive photos. If you decide to post a photo, you agree that you may be featured on the website and not just on your profile page. efriends.ie reserves the right to adjust your image by cropping.

10. User Material: Any material which you transmit or post to this website or through the service will be considered non-confidential and non-propriety. The website will have no obligation with respect to such material. Designees of the website will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material and all data, images, texts and other things embodied for anyand all commercial and non- commercial purposes. efriends.ie reserves the right to refuse any profile or photograph that maybe considered to be inappropriate for this website. We reserve the right to make changes to profiles and messages. We also reserve the right to add or remove certain services on the website at any time without prior notice.

11. Member/VIP Member Interaction: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members/VIP members of efriends.ie. efriends.ie reserves the right, but has no obligation to monitor disputes between you and your members.

12. Meetings Offline: Any meeting arranged offline between users of this website including events which maybe organised by efriends.ie members' or efriends.ie is purely the responsibility of each individual user. 

13. Service Availability: This website is normally available 24 hours a day. However efriends.ie is not liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time for a particular period. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily without notice for reasons beyond control.

14. Hypertext Links: The website maybe linked to or from other websites that are not maintained by efriends.ie. efriends.ie is not responsible for the content of those websites. The inclusion of any link to or from such websites does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by efriends.ie of the websites and any warranty on the content or operation of these wesites is disclaimed. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts. efriends.ie website can be accessed outside of Ireland; however it is the users' responsibility for ensuring compliance with all laws in the country of location as we make no representation that the content of this website complies with the laws of any country outside of Ireland.

22. Force Majeure: We shall not be liable to you or deemed to be in breech of these terms and conditions if the failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil commotion or industrial dispute.
